Sushant Singh Rajput (21 January 1986 – 14 June 2020) was an Indian actor. Rajput started his profession with television serials.
His introduction show was Star Plus' sentimental dramatization Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil (2008), trailed by a starring job in Zee TV's well known drama Pavitra Rishta (2009–11).
Rajput made his film debut in the pal show Kai Po Che! (2013), for which he got a selection for the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. He at that point starred in the lighthearted comedy Shuddh Desi Romance (2013) and as the nominal criminologist in the activity spine chiller Detective Byomkesh Bakshy! (2015).
His most elevated earning discharges accompanied a supporting job in the parody PK (2014), trailed by the nominal job in the games biopic M.S. Dhoni:
The Untold Story (2016). For his presentation in the last mentioned, he got his first designation for the Filmfare Award for Best Actor.

In June 2020, at age 34, Rajput died by suicide at his home in Bandra, Mumbai.
